I am retired now and have talked to Ivey about going to the reunion. There is one problem now, I am sitting in the hospital waiting on preparations for heart issues. If I do go it, I will drive down to Ga.

| Comments: | Great site. It would have been a 10 but, as always, the Bushwhacker's (Cobra Gun Platoon) that came after the Mavericks was left out. I was there when they stood the 175th down. Sent the guns to Can Tho to fly circles over the city at night. Outlaw 3 and I got tired of boring holes in the sky and turned it over to the newbies and went to the club for the final two weeks. | Comments: | I served with the 175th at Fort Hood from 1988-1992. As Mr. Cowan said previously, it was the best unit I served with in my 8+ years as a UH-1 crewchief. At that time the unit was with 2/158 AVN Battalion 6th Cav. Great unit and miss it. |
