Comments:Bob was in Vinh Long from summer of 1968 through July 1969. He was deployed from Fort Hood Tx as a helicopter repair person. While in Vinh Long it was learned that he was an experienced carpenter he was then assigned to build the barracks . Looking for people that may remember him . Planning to attend the reunion in September 2014.

Comments:I'm not an Outlaw, but I[we] made sure you got to "ramp one" safely. One night in May NVA marched 60 mortar rounds down the centerline towards the Control Tower.I knew there was damage to Charlie models;but I went to R&R next day. All you guys were my heroes. Tower One Zero.

Comments: Did you name your helicopter in Vietnam? I'm collecting Army helicopter names for VOL 2 of "U.S. Army Helicopter Names In Vietnam" to be published in 2015. Search your in-country photo/slide collections for personalized copter nose art & names. Search your memory & memoirs or query a buddy for his. Thank you gentlemen. Comments:In all this time the thought of just simply searching for anything on the 175th on the internet never entered my mind; that is until today. Now I see how much I’ve missed. So if you were an Outlaw or really a Maverick in 66-67 I’d like to know! I had Outlaw 27 and Outlaw 6. Joe Moffat was my AC on 6. Then as a Maverick it was 32. My email is roncin234@verizon.net. I’m in the DFW area. As the III Corps Chapter P in a Viet Nam only Motorcycle club I participate in motorcycle events to raise money to benefit veterans and their families. Maybe you’d like to join us!

Comments:Sad to see some people feel the need to use this website as a platform for their business / issues. Sorry guys but I had to say this. I have to much respect for the brave men of the 175th & the real reason for this venue. Outlaws, Mavericks & Bushwhackers rule. Have a good day.

Comments:Frank Estes, I tried to e-mail you but your email bounced. Hello Frank Estes. My name is Elvis Bray. I served at Ving Long (May 68 to May 69) with the 7th/1st Air Cav. BlackHawks. We have a BlackHawk Assn. and had a good web site. The guy running that site resigned a couple of years ago and we hired another guy to make us a new one. So far, that hasn't worked out too well. I was wondering who set your site up? How Much did it cost? How much does it cost per year? And, would they do the same for us? Could you please contact me with any helpful hints on how we might get our site up and running again. The one we have now is not acceptable. I'm also a member of the Dustoff Assn. and they also have a good site. But I like yours better. Thanks, Elvis Bray 480-209-8244
